Matt Walker has been representing working people for over 19 years. After serving in the United States Army’s 24th Infantry Division, Matt went on to graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law (formerly The John Marshall Law School) and was admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Matt represents clients before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, the Circuit Courts, and the Workers’ Compensation Division of the Illinois Appellate Court. He is the author of The Illinois Workers’ Compensation Law Field Manual and a contributing author to the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association Workers’ Compensation Notebook. Matt also represents disabled clients before the Social Security Administration and is a Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Professional. Matt has spoken on topics related to both workers’ compensation and Medicare secondary payer issues.
Matt is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, the Kane County Bar Association, and the National Medicare Secondary Payer Network. He is recognized by his peers as a Leading Lawyer in Illinois Workers’ Compensation Law.
